Skyflite 5-Year Guarantee

All Skyflite luggage is covered by a 5-year guarantee against manufacturing defects, giving you added peace of mind when you travel.

The guarantee is valid for 5 years from the original date of purchase and must be claimed through the original retailer, along with valid proof of purchase.

What does the guarantee cover?

Our 5-year guarantee covers manufacturing defects only.

If you believe your Skyflite luggage has developed a manufacturing fault, please return the item to the original retailer with your proof of purchase. The retailer will assess the product in line with the terms of our guarantee.

Without proof of purchase, the guarantee is void.

What isn't covered?

Our guarantee does not cover:

  • Accidental damage
  • Damage sustained during transit
  • General wear and tear or neglect
  • Abrasions
  • Exposure to extreme temperatures
  • Damage caused by water, beauty products, chemicals, solvents or acids
  • Damage to the contents of your luggage
  • Deliberate damage
  • Overloading or mishandling
  • Defacing, including embroidery or personalisation
  • Damage caused by incorrectly setting or using the lock, inappropriate use of the lock or forcing the lock open

Airline & Transit Damage

Damage caused while your luggage is being handled by an airline or other carrier is not considered a manufacturing defect and is not covered by our guarantee.

If your luggage is damaged during air travel, please report the damage to your carrier's representative immediately and before leaving the terminal building.

We recommend inspecting your luggage as soon as you receive it after it has been handled by someone other than yourself.

Matching Luggage Sets

If one item from a matching luggage set develops a manufacturing fault, only the item found to be faulty will be replaced.

We cannot replace an entire matching set where only one item is affected.

Discontinued Products

If your product has been discontinued since purchase and a replacement is approved under the guarantee, the latest comparable Skyflite model may be substituted.

Purchases Outside the UK

Our 5-year guarantee is valid in the UK through the original retailer only.

Skyflite does not currently have a distributor or sales network outside of the UK.

If your product was purchased outside of the UK, any claim is at the discretion of the original retailer from whom the item was purchased and will be subject to that retailer's own returns policy.

Making a Guarantee Claim

If you believe your luggage has developed a manufacturing defect:

  1. Locate your proof of purchase.
  2. Take the luggage back to the original retailer.
  3. Ask for the item to be assessed under the Skyflite 5-Year Guarantee.
  4. The retailer will assess whether the issue meets the criteria of our guarantee.

The original retailer's assessment will determine whether the product qualifies for a replacement under the guarantee.
